The problem
Most kitchens cost their menu once, in a spreadsheet, and never look again. Butter moves, beef moves, and your margin quietly drops a few points a dish. BrigadeKit re-costs every recipe the day a price changes and shows you exactly which plates slipped.
Photo: Jaz. Mine / Unsplash| Dish | Costed in March | Today |
|---|---|---|
| Braised Short Rib | 21.0% | 22.9% |
| Burrata, Heirloom Tomato | 26.0% | 29.4% |
| Duck Leg Confit | 28.4% | 34.1% |
Duck legs up $11.20 → $13.45/kg. Raise the price to $31.00 to get back to 30%.

AI invoice scan
Take a photo of a delivery invoice. BrigadeKit reads every line, matches it to your ingredients and shows what changed before anything is saved. You approve; every affected recipe re-costs.

Pricing
Recipe costing and inventory for a single kitchen.
Everything in Starter plus prep lists, food safety logs and AI invoice scan.
Central kitchen, cross-location reports and priority support for 4+ locations.
The goal is an afternoon: import your ingredient list from a supplier invoice or a CSV, then cost your top 20 dishes. Early-access kitchens get help with their first import.
BrigadeKit runs without a POS. Importing sales from popular POS systems to calculate theoretical food cost is on the roadmap; tell us which one you use when you join early access.
Every line is shown with a confidence score and the ingredient it matched. Nothing changes until you approve it, and low-confidence lines are flagged for a quick check.
Each reading is timestamped, attributed to a team member and stored with any corrective action and photo, and you can export a dated PDF for any period. Check your local authority's requirements for what they expect to see.
You choose a plan or your account goes read-only. Your recipes and logs stay yours and can be exported at any time.
